Caranua is recruiting for the position of Quality, Compliance and Information Officer
Caranua is an independent State body established to improve the wellbeing of adults who as children experienced abuse in institutions managed by religious congregations in Ireland. We do this by responding to applications from eligible survivors and providing assistance that will will improve their quality of life and prevent institutionalisation in later life. We also provide support, information and advocacy to survivors, build public awareness of the effects of institutional abuse and enhance the capacity of public services to recognise and respond to the needs of survivors.

Quality, Compliance & Information Officer
Reporting to the Director of Finance & Corporate Services, the role of the Quality, Compliance & Information Officer is to ensure high standards of quality and compliance throughout the organisation through the provision of direct services, development of policies, support to staff and monitoring. The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate
A minimum two years’ experience in a post of similar responsibility and scope
Sound knowledge of compliance with data protection, freedom of information legislation and regulation and of quality standards and their implementation
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to compose and write reports, letters and other documents
