Staff bonus

Deputy John McGuinness asked the Minister for Education and Skills if a staff bonus scheme is in place at Caranua; if a scheme providing an annual bonus by way of payment or goods or services is available to any staff members; and, if such a scheme exists, if it was approved by her Department. 

Minister for Education and Skills (Deputy Jan O’Sullivan): Caranua, the Residential Institutions Statutory Fund Board, is an independent statutory body established pursuant to the Residential Institutions Statutory Fund Act 2012. I understand from enquiries made by my officials that Caranua does not operate a staff bonus scheme.
