First of all I want to take this opportunity in thanking Caranua for all the help they are giving me. Being an x survivor, it can be a very lonely life. Through no fault of my own I have a lot of health problems, which are ongoing, but I am most grateful to Caranua for coming to my rescue, and it is making my life much easier since I got in contact with Caranua.
I was allocated an Advisor whose name is Ronan O’Halloran. When Ronan spoke to me on the phone for the first time I felt slightly uncomfortable, as he was a complete stranger, and I still have flashbacks from my childhood. But as we got talking a bit more I started to feel I’ve found a friend. Ronan was so understanding, I started to pour everything out of my system and Ronan listened with great interest. As you can appreciate the word ‘survivor’ is a very sensitive subject as in what happened to me as a child, but Ronan put me at ease, and I felt like I had known him for years. Ronan always returned my calls when I phoned him. Ronan has helped me a lot by listening and that would mean a lot to any survivor. I know he is doing his job as in being an Advisor, but I must say top marks to Ronan for making me feel better in myself.
If this world had more of Ronan O’Halloran it would be a better place.
